CAPC began as a group of resource center and medical clinic directors coming together to share ideas. Through collaboration and cooperation, these determined directors worked to create an alliance which would unite, support and advocate for pregnancy help centers across California. CAPC was established as a 501c6 organization in 2016 and has since grown in scope and representation. Our Executive Director and Board of Directors freely give their time because they believe life affirming ministry is worth protecting; CAPC strives to give members valuable information and guidance to perform community service with the highest levels of care, compassion, and integrity.
CAPC is engaging the California legislature to impact the hearts and minds of those in political power so they realize the value of pregnancy help centers in our communities and seek to preserve rather than persecute them.
CAPC is working to unite 168 California pregnancy help centers; comprised of state licensed medical clinics and educational/material resource centers, with an elevated standard of care, accountability, and support. Our members commit to expedite prenatal care and connect women with the resources and emotional support needed to care for themselves regardless of the outcome of their pregnancy. Every woman deserves quality medical services, information and emotional support, which is what our network of pregnancy clinics and resource centers offer.
We encourage our members to seek affiliation with at least one of the following national organizations: NIFLA, CareNet, Heartbeat, or Birthright.
CAPC member pregnancy help centers do not offer, recommend, or refer for abortions or abortifacients but are committed to offering accurate information about abortion procedures and risks.

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, light from light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in Being with the Father. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven, by the power of the Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary and became truly human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered, died and was buried. On the third day he rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father [and the Son]. Who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified. Who has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy catholic [universal] and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
